If your child experiences a toothache, swelling, or other oral health issue that does not resolve promptly, we would like to hear from you as soon as possible.
If your child knocks out a tooth during play, be sure to rinse it gently and place it in a container of milk or saliva until it’s time to see the dentist. In some cases, we can reset the tooth into its original position within the gum.
If your child is medically able, provide an over-the-counter pain reliever. You can also staunch blood flow with sterile gauze
Of course, if your child has trauma outside the mouth, such as an impact injury, go to the local hospital emergency department first, and call us after the physician deems them safe.
